Job Title: Server

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our team at The Provincetown Inn and provide excellent customer service in our dining establishment. As a Server, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
• Present menus and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies).
• Take accurate food and drink orders using order slips, a point-of-sale system, or by memorization.
• Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff promptly.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and accurate manner.
• Check in with customers to ensure they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
• Prepare the dining area by setting up tables, utensils, napkins, and condiments.
• Process payments efficiently and return change or credit card slips, ensuring verification of orders with customers.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and quality controls.
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
