Job summary

The Portland Regency Hotel & Spa in Portland, ME is seeking a Part-Time AM Server to join our Food & Beverage team. The AM shift runs 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM with flexibility for additional shifts. As an AM Server, you will greet guests, take orders, and deliver meals with a focus on exceptional service in a fast-paced, guest-centered environment.

TIPS certification is required. Previous hospitality experience preferred.

The Portland Regency Hotel & Spa is seeking a Part-Time AM Server to join our Food & Beverage team.

Located in the heart of Portland’s historic Old Port District, our property is a proud Historic Hotel of America, known for exceptional guest service, timeless charm, and a welcoming team environment.

Schedule: Morning shift required: 6:30 AM – 2:00 PM, with flexibility to pick up PM and Banquet shifts

Position Summary

The AM Server is responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by professionally greeting them, taking food and beverage orders, serving meals efficiently, and ensuring a positive dining experience.

This role is ideal for someone who is friendly, team-oriented, and thrives in a guest-facing hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally

• Follow all Maine liquor laws and hotel safety procedures
• Assist with training new team members as needed

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hotel, or hospitality experience preferred

• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
