Job summary

Dennys is seeking friendly servers in Port St. Lucie, FL to greet guests and serve food and beverages in line with brand standards. The role offers flexible schedules and thorough training to help you grow with the team.

You will greet guests, take orders, apply suggestive selling, and ensure prompt service while maintaining a clean dining area. Stand for 4–8 hours as required, with opportunities to advance within the restaurant group.

Qualifications

• Greet guests and seat guests.
• Record orders, apply suggestive selling, ensure prompt order placement, follow up for guest satisfaction.
• Prepare desserts and beverages for guests.
• Clear and reset tables, clean dining area.
• Collect payments following cash handling procedures.
• Perform cleaning and stocking side work as assigned.
• Periodically assist other service personnel.
• Must be able to stand and walk for 4–8 hours.

Responsibilities

Our Servers will greet guests and serve food and beverage orders in a friendly and efficient manner following company brand standards.

Job Functions:

• Greets and seats guests.
• Greets guest, applies suggestive selling techniques, records orders, ensures prompt placement of orders, follows up to ensure guest satisfaction, removes unneeded dishes and utensils.
• Prepares desserts and beverages for guests.
• Clears remaining items from tables; cleans and resets tables.
• Collects payment from guests in accordance with established cash handling procedures and adheres to guest check control policy.
• Performs cleaning and stocking side work duties as assigned.
• Periodically assists other service personnel.
• Must be able to stand and walk through out a 4 - 8 hr. shift.
• Any other duties assigned by Supervisor.
