Job summary

Harry's Seafood Bar & Grille in Ocala, FL is seeking a part-time server who brings enthusiasm for guest service and a team-oriented mindset. You will take and deliver orders, explain specials, and help ensure each guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.

The role emphasizes accuracy, sanitation, and a positive attitude, with a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays. Training is provided and benefits are offered to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prefer a minimum of one year of previous serving experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time.
• Flexible schedule - days, nights, weekends & holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages including taking, delivering and clearing orders.
• Check station before, during and after shift for cleanliness.
• Greet guests and explain specials/promotions.
• Input orders into POS and inform kitchen of order details.
• Retrieve orders from kitchen and deliver to guests.
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout service.
• Comply with liquor policies and age verification.
• Maintain a positive team atmosphere.
• Aim to be a salesperson, not just an order taker.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to all company specs and quality standards.
