Job summary

Grandfather Golf & Country Club in Linville, NC, seeks friendly, part-time seasonal servers for our varied food and beverage outlets. You will greet guests, take orders, deliver meals, and assist with events across casual to fine dining.

Candidates must be 18+, have excellent communication and customer service, and be available weekends and holidays through July. Club or restaurant experience is preferred but not required, with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat members and guests courteously.

• Work across multiple outlets and during member events.
• Support inventory management and restocking.
• Availability for major holidays through July.

Grandfather Golf & Country Club, a prestigious golf and country club located in Linville, NC, is seeking new & experienced servers who are positive, outing, passionate and hardworking to join our team. Our Food and Beverage operation is critical to our success and our team members have a tremendous impact on our members dining experience. We offer our members various outlets for dining ranging from very casual to fine dining.

Responsibilities:

• Position requires working in different outlets, and serving during our member events.
• Greet and seat members and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders and ensure accuracy of all orders.
• Deliver food and beverage orders to tables in a timely and efficient manner.
• Respond promptly to members' and guests' requests and inquiries.
• Follow established policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Ensure that tables are cleaned and reset after use.
• Assist with food and beverage inventory management and restocking.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Role includes set up and break down for various club events.
• Schedule requires being available for all major holidays through July.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to lift and carry trays, plates, glassware, and other items up to 30 pounds
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and carry out repetitive motions as needed
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy dining environment

Requirements
