Grandfather Golf & Country Club in Linville, NC is seeking new and experienced servers who are positive, outgoing, and hardworking to join our Food and Beverage team. The role offers part-time seasonal hours across outlets, with holidays through July and a focus on exceptional hospitality in a beautiful club setting.

We emphasize teamwork, guest satisfaction, and maintaining a polished dining experience for members and guests across casual to fine dining venues.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Server experience in a fast-paced, high-end restaurant or country club setting not required but preferred.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures, etiquette, and safety standards not required but preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays through July.
• Participation in club events is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat members and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders and ensure accuracy of all orders.
• Deliver food and beverage orders to tables in a timely and efficient manner.
• Respond promptly to members' and guests' requests and inquiries.
• Follow established policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Ensure that tables are cleaned and reset after use.
• Assist with food and beverage inventory management and restocking.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Role includes set up and break down for various club events.
• Schedule requires being available for all major holidays through July.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
