Responsibilities

• Knows the menu proficiently and communicates with the Kitchen.
• Garnishes food per spec and coordinates checks from the Kitchen.
• Delivers food from the Expo area quickly to each table or the Bar area.
• Assists Fans by clearing away dishes and offering beverage refills.
• Busses and cleans tables and booths as needed, restocks expo area.
• Adheres to safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Completes opening, shift change, and closing checklists and performs cleaning tasks.

POSITION SUMMARY

Service Assistants play a key role in ensuring that all food items served to our Fans meets the standards of an exceptional Primanti Bros. experience. They support the Team in multiple ways.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Possesses proficient knowledge of the menu.
• Coordinates checks sold from the Kitchen, garnishes food per spec, provides direct & clear communication with Kitchen.
• Possesses enhanced attention to detail characteristics.
• Communicates errors or remakes of dishes efficiently.
• Runs food from the Expo area quickly to each table or the Bar area.
• Offers assistance to Fans by clearing away dishes & glassware, or offering beverage refills.
• Busses and cleans tables and booths as needed.
• Empties trash and spot sweeps in restaurant.
• Restocks Expo area and prepares supplies for shift change and/or closing shifts.
• Assists Bartenders with glass and dish restock as needed. Removes and replaces bus tubs.
• Adheres to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures throughout shift.
• Completes the opening, shift change, and closing checklists found in multi-colored wall units as well as weekly and monthly cleaning tasks.
• Performs other duties as needed per Coach request.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

• Stands 100% of the shift.
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and wiping.
• Able to deliver food, beverages, and clear tables which may require lifting as much as 50lbs.
