Job summary

Madeline Hotel & Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection, Telluride, CO, seeks a Server to join the dining team. You will craft extraordinary dining experiences, take orders, and ensure guest satisfaction across business guests and resort guests alike.

With at least one year in hospitality, you’ll upsell specialty items, adhere to luxury brand standards, and maintain a polished appearance in a fast-paced setting. Weekend and holiday availability is needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in the foodservice/hospitality industry.
• Good knowledge of food and wine; luxury hospitality background preferred.
• Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Superior appearance and professional demeanor for a fast-paced team.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to obtain relevant state/local food and alcohol certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the guest dining experience by taking orders, anticipating needs, and delivering items efficiently.
• Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction with beverages and meals while maintaining high service standards.
• Follow Auberge Resorts Collection standards and upsell distinctive menu items.
• Accurately take and input orders into the POS system, and handle billing.
• Operate, maintain, and clean restaurant equipment and fittings.
• Keep restaurant outlets tidy and comply with safe food handling procedures.

The targeted compensation range for this full time year round, non-exempt position is $12.14 hr+tips. The position offers a competitive compensation package presented by Auberge Collection.

Job Description

• Facilitate the guest dining experience by taking orders, anticipating needs, and delivering all items efficiently.


• Relate with guests to ensure satisfaction with beverages and meals, maintaining a consistently heartfelt and high-quality service.


• Comply with Auberge Resorts Collection standards and make thoughtful suggestions for upselling unique menu items.


• Accurately and quickly take and place orders, input them into the POS system, and handle billing.


• Operate, maintain, and clean restaurant equipment and fittings.


• Ensure the restaurant/outlets are tidy, organized, and follow safe food handling procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in the foodservice/hospitality industry.


• Good knowledge of food and wine. Experience at a luxury hospitality property preferred.


• Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol.


• Superior professional appearance and manner, good character to work in a fast-paced team.


• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.


• Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications, such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications, as applicable to the position.
