Goode Company Restaurants is seeking a friendly and energetic Server for a part-time role in Houston, TX. The position focuses on delivering a memorable Texas-sized dining experience and maintaining a positive, efficient service flow.

Responsibilities include taking orders, delivering food and beverages, checking IDs, and upselling with a friendly attitude. Previous experience in a high-volume setting is preferred; 18+ required. Training and benefits offered if eligible.

Qualifications

• TABC Certification required.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Punctual and reliable attendance.
• 1+ year experience in a high-volume establishment.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Well-groomed and professionally dressed.
• Attention to detail and passion for guest service.
• Positive and professional attitude in all aspects of the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient order taking and delivery of food/beverages to meet quality standards and values.
• Pre-bus tables and clear dining area to maintain cleanliness.
• Refill beverages as needed.
• Check IDs to prevent underage drinking.
• Maintain communication with staff and management.
• Operate POS system for credit card and cash transactions.
• Demonstrate great attitude and customer service at all times.
• Have thorough knowledge of all menu items to answer questions about food and drinks.
• Follow alcohol awareness procedures to prevent intoxication.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are in search of enthusiastic personalities that are genuinely passionate about delivering a memorable, Texas sized dining experience to our guests. Our servers will have an upbeat and positive attitude at all times. After all, our guests know and expect great things from Goode Company. Your main objective is to provide consistent top notch service while maintaining and a fun environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide efficiency in order taking and delivery of food/beverages to ensure quality standards and core values are being met
• Pre-bus tables accordingly and remove any trash to provide a clean dining area at all times
• Refill beverages as necessary
• Check identification of guests to avoid underage drinking
• Maintain communication with other staff and management
• Ability to operate the point-of-sale register system, including processing credit card and cash transactions
• Must have a great attitude and equally provide great customer service
• Maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items and is able to answer questions regarding food and drink items and their preparation
• Follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication
