Avista Senior Living in Garden City, ID is seeking energetic servers for part-time and full-time roles to support our dining program for residents.

Under the supervision of the Dining Supervisor, you will prepare and serve meals, assist with dining room setup, and help with cleaning and inventory while upholding sanitary standards. Flexibility in scheduling is required. A food handler certification is preferred and CPR may be required.

Qualificações

• Minimum of one year experience in serving or related food service roles.
• Must obtain a valid food handler and CPR card.
• Able to speak, read, and understand English and provide excellent customer service.

Avista Senior Living in Garden City, ID is seeking part time & full time SERVERS.Coverage needed for 7:00am-2:30pm shift and 3:30pm-7:00pm shift.Under general supervision of the Dining Supervisor, the server/dishwasher performs a variety of duties involving preparation and service of balanced meals to the residents. The Servers will possess a genuine interest in and concern for the food service industry and for geriatric, chronically ill and/or disabled persons. Must be able to communicate well and take direction to ensure top notch service to our residents.If you are passionate about working with seniors in a team-orientated work environment, then we want you to help us continue to provide high quality senior services in a manner that love and compassion.Essential Functions:Supports the philosophy, mission, commitment, vision, and values of Terra Pointe.Prepares food, etc., in accordance with sanitary regulations, as well as established policies and procedures.Performs dishwashing duties.Develops and maintains a good working rapport with department personnel, as well as other departments within the community, to assure that food service can be properly maintained to meet the needs of the patients.Assists in serving meals, as necessary, on a timely basis.Assists with inventorying and storing incoming food, supplies, etc., as necessary.Assists in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies.Assists with maintaining food storage areas in a clean and properly arranged manner at all times.Sets up meal trays, food carts, the dining room etc., as instructed.Serves food in dining room, as instructed.Qualifications:Minimum of one year experience with serving, kitchen safety, sanitation in a restaurant, health care facility, or institution preferredMust have or be able to obtain a valid food handler and cpr card.Flexibility in scheduling is required.Must speak, read, and understand the English language.Excellent customer service is a must.
