Job summary

Heritage Village in Gainesville, VA is seeking a part-time Dining Room Server to join our culinary team. This role performs full-scope, hands-on serving duties within the community, with no late nights and weekend availability required.

We offer benefits including 401(k), health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance. Prior senior living serving experience is preferred; high school sophomores acceptable. Salary is $16.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school required.
• Experience in food service work preferred.
• Experience in working with seniors preferred; vaccination status may be requested.

• Exemplify cleanliness, sanitation, and organization standards at all times.
• Adhere to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards.
• Exhibit proper dining room appearance and presentation.
• Set tables and maintain work stations in proper order; take orders and provide courteous service.
• Serve customers using proper etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.

Heritage Village, is recruiting for a hospitality focused Sever to join our culinary team! This role provides full-scope, hands on serving functions within the community. NO LATE NIGHTS!

We have part-time shifts available must be available weekends

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Dining Room Server:

• Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always.
• Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards always.
• Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order. Take order, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
• Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school required
• Experience in food service work preferred
• Experience in working with seniors preferred any roles in the community may require that we ask about your vaccination status.
