Job summary

Barrel & Boar BBQ Gastropub in Ohio is seeking an experienced Restaurant Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences. You will take dine-in and to-go orders, serve beverages, and keep your section clean while supporting teammates.

We value a personable, detail‑oriented team player who can multitask during busy shifts. Compensation ranges from $15.00 to $33.00 per hour, with PTO accrual after five years and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server.
• Memorize ingredients of menu and specials.

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Restaurant Server to join our team!

You will be helping to create exceptional experiences for our customers during their visit. with us by serving the tables in your section, taking dine‑in and to‑go orders, delivering beverages in a timely fashion, managing your running side work, and resolving customer issues.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about service and loves to share that passion by going above and beyond for customers. A natural‑people‑person with an eye for the details. You are looking to join a hard‑working and efficient team that cares about great food and the guest’s experience.

Responsibilities

• Take orders from bar customers for food and beverages.
• Deliver all beverages in a timely fashion
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and appearance of your section
• Running food whenever needed to both your tables and your teammates
• Collect customer payments and provide change in a timely and courteous manner

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server
• Ability to memorize all the ingredients in both the menu as well as daily/weekly specials
• General knowledge of wine, cocktails, and beer
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time

Compensation: $15.00 - $33.00 per hour

Barrel & Boar BBQ Gastropub is a casual place for family and friends to enjoy finely crafted smoked meats, and southern Cuisine in a warm rustic setting. Barrel & Boar features a collection of low country flavors designed with local craft beers and finely crafted cocktails.

Accrue up to 3 weeks of paid time off after 5 years of service. All employees begin with 2 weeks of PTO and accrue an additional day for each year of service.
