Job summary

The Boathouse is hiring a Restaurant Server to deliver courteous, attentive service and ensure guests have a memorable dining experience. You will greet guests, explain menus, take orders, and coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Server in a full-service restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and dietary accommodations.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and quality.
• Monitor tables to anticipate guests' needs, refilling beverages, and addressing any issues promptly.
• Process payments, handle cash, and operate a point-of-sale (POS) system with accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including resetting tables for the next guests.
• Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service and exceptional guest experiences.
