Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a server for The Barclay at Clemson to deliver gracious hospitality to residents and guests in a resort-style senior living environment. You will guide guests through menus, coordinate with the bar and coffee shop, and help maintain a warm, spotless dining area.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, prior hospitality experience, a willingness to work varied shifts including holidays and weekends, and a genuine desire to serve older adults.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and be willing to serve others.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• ServSafe certification if required by state.
• Food server/hospitality experience required.
• Bar Card preferred if state requirements allow.
• Willingness to work with the elderly and meet hospitality standards.
• Knowledge of POS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents and guests receive gracious hospitality and a pleasant dining experience.
• Assist in Bar and Coffee Shop as scheduled.
• Guide guests through menus with knowledge of food and beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards in dining areas.
• Take accurate orders and coordinate with team to deliver prompt service.
• Set and reset tables per company standards.
• Assist with meal preparation if requested.
• Maintain stock levels of bar, coffee shop and front of house.
• Assist with special events and activities as requested.

We are currently looking for a Server for The Barclay at Clemson

Primary Responsibilities of the Server:

• Ensure that all residents and guests receive gracious hospitality and have a pleasant dining experience.
• Assist in Bar and Coffee Shop as scheduled.
• Guiding guests through menus, demonstrating thorough knowledge of the food and beverages.
• Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards in all dining areas.
• Taking accurate orders and partnering with team members to deliver great food in an organized manner as to deliver prompt, world class service
• Sets and reset tables in line with company standards.
• Assist with meal preparation if requested.
• Assist with maintaining stock levels of bar, coffee shop and front of the house.
• Assist with special events and activities as requested

Requirements
