Job summary

Monterey Peninsula Country Club is seeking an experienced food server to join our Food & Beverage team. You will describe menu items, greet members and guests, take orders, and input them accurately into our POS system while ensuring correct charges to member accounts.

We value a great attitude and a commitment to exceptional hospitality. A Food Handler Certificate and Responsible Beverage Service certification are required or obtainable within 30 days.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years food service in upscale environment.
• Private club, resort or hospitality experience preferred.
• Great attitude and commitment to amazing hospitality.
• Food Handler Certificate or able to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Responsible Beverage Service certification or able to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests by name when known.
• Take and input orders accurately into POS.
• Ensure items are charged correctly to member accounts.
• Maintain side stations with supplies and cleanliness.
• Assist dining room flow and timely bill payments.
• Communicate service issues to management with attention to member concerns.

Don’t miss this opportunity!We are seeking an experienced food server with a dynamic hospitality driven attitude to join our food & beverage team.For over 100 years Monterey Peninsula Country Club has catered to a diverse Membership of more than 1,100 Members and more than 250 employees.
