Job summary

Avista Senior Living Joshua Springs in Bullhead City, AZ, is seeking dedicated servers to join our dining team. Under supervision, you will prepare and serve balanced meals to residents, communicate well, and maintain compassionate, patient-centered service for geriatric residents.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate well and take direction to ensure top notch service to our residents.
• Food handler's permit, or the ability to obtain.
• Food service experience preferred, but NOT required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food in accordance with sanitary regulations and established policies.
• Develops and maintains a good working rapport with department personnel and other departments to assure proper food service for residents.
• Assists in serving meals, as necessary, on a timely basis.
• Assists with inventorying and storing incoming food, supplies, etc.
• Assists in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, per policies.
• Maintains clean and properly arranged food storage areas at all times.
• Sets up meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc., as instructed.
• May assist Cook with preparing meals.
• Serves food in dining room, as instructed.

Avista Senior Living Joshua Springs , a beautiful senior living community in Bullhead City, AZ, is seeking dedicated & motivated team members to join our team as Servers.

Under general supervision of the Dining Supervisor, the servers performs a variety of duties involving preparation and service of balanced meals to the residents of Avista. The Servers will possess a genuine interest in and concern for the food service industry and for geriatric, chronically ill and/or disabled persons. Must be able to communicate well and take direction to ensure top notch service to our residents.

Essential Functions
