Job summary

Jimmy's Seafood Inc in Baltimore is seeking servers to provide a fine dining experience, take orders and serve food and beverages. Full-time, part-time, and seasonal schedules are available.

You will inform guests of specials, maintain knowledge of menu and beverages, handle payments, and keep the dining area clean while upholding restaurant standards.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older required.
• Server experience in fine dining preferred.
• Food handling and alcohol awareness training preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide fine dining service for guests; take orders and serve food and beverages.
• Inform guests of specials, promotions and recommendations.
• Maintain knowledge of menu and basic/specialty beverage items.
• Present bills, accept payments, and operate POS with accurate cash handling.
• Keep server area clean and organized.
• Perform opening/closing duties.
• Practice safe food and beverage handling and cleanliness standards.
• Adhere to quality standards and restaurant policies.
• Promote company promotions on personal social media when applicable.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide a fine dining experience for dining room/banquet guests; take orders; serve food and beverages
• Inform guests of specials and promotions, answer questions and make suggestions
• Maintain knowledge of food menu items and basic/specialty alcoholic beverage items
• Present bills, accept payments, operate POS systems, upholding strict cash handling procedures and accountability for all transactions
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of server area
• Perform opening/closing responsibilities
• Practice safe food/beverage handling and cleanliness standards at all times
• Adhere to quality standards and restaurant rules and procedures
• Actively participates in the company's social media program by posting/sharing company fliers to personal social media accounts, if available
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• Must be 18 years of age minimum
