Cooper’s Hawk Winery in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a customer-focused server to join our team in a fast-paced, upscale casual dining setting. You will help guests enjoy wine-paired meals, explain our Wine Club benefits, and provide attentive, personalized service.

We value teamwork, speed, and accuracy in order taking and payments, with a friendly, professional approach to every guest interaction.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age and six months of server experience.
• Experience in full service or upscale casual dining preferred.
• Comfort speaking about food, wine, and the Wine Club program.
• A passion for hospitality and teamwork.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced setting.
• Must lift up to 40 pounds and stand up to 10 hours.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Show Up Ready: arrive prepared, on time, in proper uniform and ready to work.
• Know the menu, wine list, and steps of service; use the POS accurately.
• Understand the Cooper’s Hawk Wine Club offerings and benefits.
• Follow checklists and SOPs to prep work areas for opening, mid-shift, or closing.
• Own What You See: jump in to help the team and deliver food and drinks with care.
• Follow legal guidelines for alcohol service and maintain guest experience.
• Stay in Sync: communicate clearly with Kitchen, Hosts, Runners, Bartenders, and Managers.
• Anticipate guest needs and coordinate with team for a smooth flow of service.
• Make It Personal: greet guests warmly, use names, and tailor recommendations.
• Add a Touch: delight guests, share the Wine Club story, and invite further engagement.
