The Retreat at Beaufort is seeking a Cook to join the Food & Beverage team. The Cook will handle all aspects of food preparation, following approved recipes and dietary guidelines to ensure quality and service standards for residents.

Responsibilities include maintaining sanitary conditions, recording temperatures, following safety procedures, and assisting with inventory and menus. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with culinary training or SERV Safe certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Culinary apprenticeship or training preferred.
• 1 year job-related experience including food preparation and therapy diets.
• Maintains SERV Safe certificate or can become certified.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and serve meals per approved recipes and menus.
• Maintain sanitary conditions in all food service areas.
• Monitor temperatures, quality, and portion control.
• Record temperatures and equipment readings for safety compliance.
• Assist with inventory, production sheets, and dietary modifications.
