Job summary

Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. in Alabama seeks a Senior Tooling Engineer to support new tool builds, engineering changes, and equipment cost validation for BiW and assembly lines.

You will work with ramp-up and support teams on current and future projects across domestic sites and supplier networks. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field and at least three years in a manufacturing environment, with strong CAD knowledge (Siemens NX) and PC applications.

Qualifications

• Education, Experience and Necessary Skills must be met as listed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with relevant manufacturing experience.
• Minimum three years of engineering experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably press or body shop.

Responsibilities

• Review tool and equipment quality and determine readiness for series production.
• Provide tool tracking and coordinate with Quality and Einfuehrung teams.
• Support process reviews and ramp-up activities at Anlauffabrik and supplier sites.
