Job summary

The State of South Carolina Department of Corrections (SCDC) is seeking candidates for a role focused on assisting and overseeing Sexual Transgression Group (STG) information collection from inmates and disseminating intelligence to staff. Qualifications

• A high school diploma and relevant experience. A bachelor’s degree in a related field may substitute for the required experience.
• Must be certified by the SCDC Training Academy and successfully complete the basic supervisory course within six (6) months of entry into the position.

• Represent the Statewide STG Coordinator at STG member designation hearings.
• Assist with inmate STG status evaluations.
• Make unannounced rounds to institutions to ensure procedural compliance and timelines are met by intelligence staff.
• Assist with duties assigned by the Statewide STG Coordinator.

Education

High School Diploma
