Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Septic Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, reliability, and customer service while managing a physically demanding role. This position involves inspecting and pumping septic systems, completing service reports, and interacting with customers. This is a great opportunity for a truck driver looking for a job where you’re home every night, but still putting your CDL to use. This role requires digging to uncover septic tank lids, lifting and maneuvering of hoses and septic lids weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as safe and efficient driving across multiple stops per day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute assigned daily jobs, ensuring all services are completed safely and on time.
  • Pump and inspect septic systems according to quality and sanitation standards.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle to ensure proper operation and safety.
  • Complete accurate and timelyreports for pumping and inspection services.
  • Operate vehicles in compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients onsite.
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

  • Valid Commercial Drivers License (Class A preferred, but not required).
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing (in accordance with federal DOT regulations).
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized throughout the day.
  • Positive attitude, dependable, and takes pride in delivering a high standard of service.
  • Familiarity with Mason County and surrounding areas is an asset, but training will be provided.
