Job summary

Wind River Environmental LLC is seeking a Repair Technician to perform standard repairs and evaluations for septic systems in homes and businesses in accordance with local codes and health department guidance. The role involves educating customers on service options and financing, and may include inspections for real estate transactions.

Responsibilities include performing pump checkouts, site evaluations, open pit inspections, and trench or pipe work with a team.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and exercise safe work practice
• Performs Pump Checkouts either above grade or by Confined Space Entry
• Performs basic pipe, baffle, riser, lid replacements, with manual digging involved
• Performs Site Evaluations to determine next steps for Repairs Division
• Performs Open Pit Inspections for Real Estate transactions
• Provides camera and snaking of lines for residential and commercial properties
• Directs workers engaged in spreading crushed rock and gravel, in laying tile drainpipe, and in connecting drainpipes to branch sewers
• May verify levels of rock or gravel, base, and tile drainpipe, using surveyor's or carpenter's level
