UofL Health in Louisville, KY is seeking a Sepsis Response Nurse with strong critical care background to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. You will monitor, document, and optimize sepsis care across the patient journey, ensuring timely intervention and adherence to sepsis bundle guidelines.

The role requires active KY RN license, BLS and ACLS, with 2+ years in critical care or emergency settings; BSN preferred and rapid response experience is favored.

Formación

• ADN encouraged to start BSN program
• BSN preferred at hiring
• Minimum 2 years critical care or ED experience required
• 1 year rapid response experience preferred
• Active Kentucky RN license or compact license required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• CCRN or TCRN upon hire or within 1 year preferred

Responsabilidades

• Conduct systematic assessments from admission to discharge across the care continuum.
• Administer medications and document per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with care team to plan and adjust patient care.
• Identify patient safety issues and intervene to prevent adverse events.
• Monitor sepsis alerts and ensure timely documentation and treatment.
• Advocate for patients and families and maintain HIPAA compliance.
