A leading company in the firearms industry is seeking an SEO Strategist to develop and implement SEO strategies aimed at enhancing organic traffic and revenue. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in SEO practices, content marketing, and digital strategies, and will work closely with senior management to achieve company goals.

Our e-commerce and wholesale divisions serve consumers and dealers nationwide with a wide selection of leading brands, including firearms and tactical equipment. The SEO Strategist is responsible for developing all SEO strategies and may function as a junior-level SEO Manager in some cases. The SEO Strategist will work directly with the Senior SEO Manager, Director of Inbound, Director of Outbound, and the Product Merchandising team to build SEO strategies aimed at increasing keyword ranking, clicks, impressions, organic traffic, and revenue. They will be responsible for developing and executing strategies with the SEO Specialist and Senior SEO Specialist, acting as the 'product owner' of SEO strategy.
Requires advanced keyword research using SEMRush, other competitive research tools, Google Analytics 4, and Google Search Console. Knowledge of UX/UI and best design practices, extensive e-commerce experience, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to set goals are essential. Some knowledge of social media and both technical and content SEO tactics is required. An ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of SEO experience and be capable of working independently and managing small teams.
