About The Role

We are seeking a results-driven SEO Specialist to join our growing Marketing Department. In this role, you will support the execution and refinement of Cherry Bekaert’s SEO strategy to improve organic visibility, search rankings, and lead generation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize website content, conduct keyword and competitive research, and implement technical and local SEO improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the SEO Manager in developing and implementing SEO strategies to enhance organic traffic and lead generation
• Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis using tools like SEMrush, Conductor, and Google Analytics
• Monitor keyword performance and recommend content updates based on search volume, competition, and user intent
• Optimize on-page elements including meta titles, descriptions, header tags, images, URLs, and internal linking
• Collaborate with Content and Go-to-Market teams to ensure SEO best practices in content creation
• Conduct technical SEO audits and work with Web Developers to resolve issues such as crawl errors and site speed improvements
• Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles and local SEO listings
• Identify backlink acquisition opportunities
• Track, analyze, and report SEO performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools
• Communicate SEO insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
• 2–3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in B2B or professional services environments
• Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Conductor, and Screaming Frog
• Experience with CMS platforms; Optimizely experience is a plus
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Knowledge of UX principles related to SEO
