So What’s the Job?

We’re looking for a Manager, SEO – Organic Growth & AI Strategy to own our SEO roadmap and lead the charge on future-facing search strategies. You’ll be responsible for driving organic visibility, growing qualified traffic, and optimizing for AI-enhanced search experiences. This is a hands-on, analytical, and strategic role ideal for someone fluent in SEO and passionate about how AI is transforming search.

As part of our performance marketing team, you’ll work closely with content, web, and analytics to deliver meaningful results and continuously evolve ISSA’s organic growth engine.

What is ISSA looking for?

• Plan, execute, and optimize organic search strategies across on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
• Lead SEO audits, keyword research, and competitive analysis to uncover and prioritize growth opportunities.
• Monitor and adapt to changes in search engine algorithms, including Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other AI-powered formats.
• Implement and manage SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog) to track performance and ensure technical health.
• Collaborate with content teams to optimize for search intent, user experience, and AI-driven snippet formats.
• Work with developers to resolve crawl, indexing, and Core Web Vitals issues.
• Drive innovation through AI tools and automation (e.g., for content generation, SERP tracking, schema implementation).
• Analyze traffic, rankings, conversion paths, and report insights that improve lead quality and conversion rates.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align SEO with business goals across multiple brands and product lines.
• Stay ahead of industry trends—especially where AI and search intersect—and proactively shape our SEO roadmap.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in SEO, preferably with B2C exposure.
• Proven track record of growing organic traffic and improving SERP visibility.
• Strong understanding of how generative AI is disrupting traditional SEO strategies.
• Hands-on experience with leading SEO tools: Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
• Solid grasp of technical SEO (schema, page speed, mobile-first indexing, site structure).
• Familiarity with content automation, prompt optimization, and emerging AI search trends.
• Strong analytical mindset and experience using data to inform strategy.
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments (DTC, e-learning, SaaS preferred).
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and creative teams.
