Job description

About the Role:

As an SEO Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization strategies to drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and increase brand visibility. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, and development, to ensure that our website and online presence align with industry best practices and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, increase website traffic, and drive lead generation for our B2B SaaS products.
  2. Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify high-impact keywords, search trends, and opportunities for optimization.
  3. Optimize website content, meta tags, URLs, and other on-page elements to improve search engine visibility and user experience.
  4. Collaborate with the content team to create and optimize engaging, SEO-friendly content that targets relevant keywords and appeals to our target audience.
  5. Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and Google Analytics, providing regular reports and actionable insights to stakeholders.
  6. Conduct technical SEO audits, and identify and resolve website issues related to crawlability, indexability, site speed, and mobile responsiveness.
  7. Stay updated with industry trends, algorithm updates, and SEO best practices, and implement appropriate changes to maintain competitive advantage.
  8. Monitor and analyze competitor SEO strategies, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies to outrank competitors.
  9. Collaborate with the development team to implement SEO best practices during website redesigns or updates, ensuring SEO considerations are prioritized.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize website architecture, internal linking, and overall website performance.
  11. Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and digital marketing, sharing knowledge and providing guidance to team members when necessary.

About You:

  1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. A relevant SEO certification is a plus.
  2. 5-6 years of proven experience working as an SEO Manager or in a similar role within a B2B SaaS company.
  3. In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
  4. Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or similar platforms.
  5. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive informed decisions and strategies.
  6. Experience with website analytics tools and a solid understanding of key website metrics.
  7. Technical expertise in website optimization, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  8. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and website development processes.
  9. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  10. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
