Reducto, Inc. seeks an experienced SEO Lead to own organic growth strategies across traditional SEO and AI-driven discovery. You will implement technical foundations, craft content, and measure impact to establish Reducto as the authoritative source for document intelligence.

You will collaborate with Growth, Product Marketing, Brand, Product, and Engineering while shipping technical improvements and high-quality content from our San Francisco HQ.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO or organic growth with measurable results.
• Deep technical SEO fluency and ability to implement changes in a CMS or codebase.
• Knowledge of content strategy and AI-assisted discovery.

Responsibilities

• Own Reducto’s organic growth strategy across SEO, AEO/GEO, and AI-driven discovery.
• Improve visibility across search engines and AI assistants used by developers.
• Lead technical SEO across crawlability, indexation, rendering, linking, redirects, and site architecture.
• Work directly in the marketing site codebase and CMS to implement improvements.
• Research, write, edit, and optimize technical content for developers and buyers.
• Strengthen authority through entity consistency and high-quality coverage.
• Define and own measurement across rankings, traffic, and AI citations.
• Build dashboards for ranking changes, indexing issues, and technical regressions.
• Stay ahead of changes in search and AI discovery with a clear roadmap.

The Opportunity

Search is changing. Developers and technical buyers increasingly discover products through ChatGPT, Claude, Google AI, and coding agents, not just through traditional search.

As Reducto’s SEO & GEO Lead, you’ll own how Reducto is discovered across both traditional search and AI-powered answer engines. You’ll set the strategy and execute it hands-on, building the technical foundation, content, and measurement systems that make Reducto the authoritative answer for document intelligence and agentic document workflows.

This is a high-ownership individual-contributor role. You’ll work across our marketing site, blog, documentation, cookbooks, comparison and industry pages, and third-party surfaces. You’ll partner closely with Growth, Product Marketing, Brand, Product, and Engineering while personally shipping technical improvements and high-quality content.

What You’ll Do

• Own Reducto’s organic growth strategy across SEO, AEO/GEO, and AI-driven discovery.

• Improve Reducto’s visibility across search (e.g., Google), conversational assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity, and the coding agents developers use to build.

• Lead technical SEO across crawlability, indexation, rendering, internal linking, redirects, and site architecture.

• Work directly in our marketing website codebase and CMS to implement improvements, debug issues, and ship changes.

• Research, write, edit, and optimize technical content that answers real developer and buyer questions.

• Strengthen Reducto’s authority through entity consistency, structured references, earned mentions, and high-quality third-party coverage.

• Define and own measurement across rankings, non-branded visibility, organic traffic, AI citations and share of voice.

• Build or own dashboards for monitoring ranking changes, indexing issues, crawl anomalies, and technical regressions, and Reducto’s presence in search and AI-generated answers.

• Stay ahead of changes in search and AI discovery, translating new developments into a clear point of view and prioritized roadmap.

You’ll Thrive Here If You

• Hold yourself to a high bar for quality and precision.

• Have 5+ years of experience in SEO, organic growth, technical marketing, or a related field, with measurable results.

• Have deep technical SEO fluency and are comfortable implementing changes in a CMS or codebase.

• Understand how content strategy, information architecture, and editorial quality drive both traditional rankings and AI citations.

• Have hands-on experience experimenting with AEO/GEO, including how AI assistants retrieve, reference, and surface content.

• Are comfortable with tools such as Google Search Console, GA4 or PostHog, Ahrefs or Semrush, crawl and log-analysis tools, and AI-visibility platforms.

• Can define meaningful metrics, build dashboards, and use data to prioritize your work.

• Operate well in fast-changing, high-growth environments.

• Take full ownership from idea through implementation and measurement.

Bonus Points If You

• Have worked in B2B SaaS, developer tools, AI infrastructure, or another technically complex category.

• Have built an SEO or organic growth program from an early-stage foundation.

• Have experience with modern frontend frameworks and rendering strategies.

• Have built programmatic landing pages or scaled technical content operations.

• Have experimented with machine-readable documentation or content designed for coding agents.

• Care deeply about combining technical excellence with business impact.
