Role & responsibilities
- Perform full-scale SEO audits and recommend improvements
- Implement technical, on-page, and off-page SEO best practices
- Optimize website structure, metadata, internal linking, and page content
- Create and manage a keyword strategy focused on medical billing and healthcare services
- Collaborate with content writers and web developers for SEO implementation
- Monitor performance metrics (traffic, rankings, conversions) using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Search Console
- Improve domain authority, backlink profile, and local SEO rankings
- Stay current with Google algorithm updates and SEO trends
Preferred candidate profile
- 5+ years of SEO experience with a minimum of 2 years in the U.S. healthcare domain (medical billing, revenue cycle, or health tech)
- Deep knowledge of U.S. healthcare search behaviors
- Hands-on expertise with SEO tools: Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.
- Proven track record of increasing organic visibility and qualified lead generation
- Strong communication, reporting, and data analysis skills
- Self-starter comfortable working independently in a remote setup
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with U.S. healthcare buyers (e.g., providers, ASC managers, billing companies)
- Prior work with international or cross-border digital marketing teams
- Understanding of local SEO for multi-location healthcare businesses
