Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, English, or related field.
• At least two years of professional writing experience.
• Experience creating and optimizing digital content for audiences and search performance.
• Familiarity with SEO practices, web content management systems, and digital accessibility standards.
• Knowledge of AP Style preferred.
• Experience in higher education or nonprofit settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, update, and optimize webpage content to improve clarity, usability, accessibility, and brand alignment.
• Apply SEO and content best practices to enhance visibility and audience reach.
• Assist with crafting audience-focused email content that drives engagement.
• Participate in Content Strategy meetings to surface opportunities and align on priorities.
• Provide support for priority digital initiatives, marketing campaigns, and content-driven projects.
