Job summary

Terakeet is seeking a Senior SEO Analyst to join our client delivery teams. You will evaluate client properties for SEO/GEO alignment, develop actionable recommendations, and measure partnership performance over time.

The role requires performing audits, researching keywords, and communicating findings to internal stakeholders. You will monitor performance with analytics tools and develop reporting, collaborating with content teams to drive results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
• Professional work experience in a related role is preferred.
• Ability to understand search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
• Demonstrated ability to articulate and deliver reports or recommendations to stakeholders.
• Proven success in utilizing analytics platforms to drive concrete action against business goals.
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Proven ability to interact successfully with cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and adapting to changing environments.
• Keen attention to detail is essential.

Responsibilities

• Performs website audits and develops related recommendations to ensure SEO/GEO best practice compliance.
• Provides analyses related to search intent, asset ranking potential, backlink profiles, and SERP anomalies.
• Performs keyword research for multiple segments of a client’s website.
• Prepares findings from analysis and communicates strategic insights to internal stakeholders.
• Monitors performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, Adobe Analytics and other tools.
• Develops reports leveraging Excel, Google Sheets, and proprietary reporting tools.
• Executes ad hoc requests with detailed, data-driven problem solving.
• Collaborates with content teams to share data and insights affecting reporting.
• Supports delivery by providing actionable recommendations to clients.

Where You Fit

This position is part of our client delivery teams. The (Sr.) SEO Analyst evaluates client properties to ensure alignment with SEO/GEO best practices, develops recommendations, and evaluates client partnership performance over time.

• Performs website audits and develops related recommendations to ensure SEO/GEO best practice compliance.
• Provides analyses as they relate to search intent, asset ranking potential, backlink profiles, advanced search features, and SERP anomalies.
• Performs keyword research for multiple segments of a client’s website.
• Prepares findings from analysis and effectively communicates strategic insights to internal stakeholders by telling the story within the data.
• Monitors performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Adobe Analytics, proprietary tools, and others as needed.
• Develops reports leveraging Excel, Google Sheets, Slides, and proprietary reporting tools.
• Executes ad hoc requests as needed, ensuring a comprehensive view of the issue and potential solutions by providing an appropriate level of detail and creative thinking.
• Collaborates closely with the content department to share data and insights that affect reporting through internal and external deliverables.

The SEO Analyst reports directly to a Technical SEO Lead.

• Comfortable functioning in spaces with high ambiguity and adapting easily to changing environments.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this role is $63,000 to $95,000.

*This salary range is based off of the market pay for all of the United States; Terakeet applies a multiplier to this range based upon the specific geographic location of a job candidate*
