Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing or related field.
• Experience in a related role is preferred.
• Ability to understand search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
• Ability to articulate and deliver reports or recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to use analytics to provide strategic recommendations and drive business goals.
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform website audits and provide recommendations for SEO/GEO best practices.
• Analyze search intent, asset ranking, backlink profiles, advanced search features, and SERP anomalies.
• Conduct keyword research for multiple segments of a client’s website.
• Prepare findings from analysis and communicate strategic insights to internal stakeholders.
• Monitor performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Adobe Analytics, and proprietary tools.
• Develop reports leveraging Excel, Google Sheets, Slides, and proprietary reporting tools.
• Execute ad hoc requests with thorough analysis and creative problem solving.
• Collaborate with content teams to share data and insights affecting reporting.

Where You Fit

This position is part of our client delivery teams. The (Sr.) SEO Analyst evaluates client properties to ensure alignment with SEO/GEO best practices, develops recommendations, and evaluates client partnership performance over time.

• Performs website audits and develops related recommendations to ensure SEO/GEO best practice compliance.
• Provides analyses as they relate to search intent, asset ranking potential, backlink profiles, advanced search features, and SERP anomalies.
• Performs keyword research for multiple segments of a client’s website.
• Prepares findings from analysis and effectively communicates strategic insights to internal stakeholders by telling the story within the data.
• Monitors performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Adobe Analytics, proprietary tools, and others as needed.
• Develops reports leveraging Excel, Google Sheets, Slides, and proprietary reporting tools.
• Executes ad hoc requests as needed, ensuring a comprehensive view of the issue and potential solutions by providing an appropriate level of detail and creative thinking.
• Collaborates closely with the content department to share data and insights that affect reporting through internal and external deliverables.

How We Evaluate

The SEO Analyst reports directly to a Technical SEO Lead.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred - Concentration in Marketing or a related field.

• Demonstrated ability to articulate and deliver reports or recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven success in utilizing analytics platforms and data to provide strategic recommendations and drive concrete action against business goals.
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Proven ability to interact successfully with cross-functional teams and build collaborative relationships.
• Comfortable functioning in spaces with high ambiguity and adapting easily to changing environments.
• Keen attention to detail is essential to ensure thoroughness, accuracy, and consistency in project completion.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this role is $63,000 to $95,000.

*This salary range is based off of the market pay for all of the United States; Terakeet applies a multiplier to this range based upon the specific geographic location of a job candidate*
