Job summary

97th Floor is seeking an SEO-focused strategist to own organic search for multiple client accounts. You’ll perform keyword research, content mapping, and competitive analyses while managing technical fixes, internal linking, and backlink strategy.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision-making, cross-client collaboration, and ongoing learning about evolving search algorithms, with a flexible work approach that welcomes presence in our Lehi office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
• 2–3 years of experience in SEO or organic search
• Working knowledge of GA4, Google Search Console, and Looker Studio
• Experience with keyword and site auditing tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or Moz
• Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets for data organization and analysis
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn performance data into an actionable strategy
• Adaptability — comfortable pivoting strategy to fit different clients, audiences, and industries
• Self-starter who is always trying to learn more in an ever-changing environment

Responsibilities

• Own organic search strategy for client accounts across content, technical fixes, internal linking, and backlinks
• Lead content strategy including keyword research, AI prompt research, and content mapping recommendations
• Conduct comprehensive keyword reviews at contract start to prioritize topics
• Perform full technical audits at least every 6 months and at contract start
• Monitor results across analytics tools and provide actionable recommendations
• Lead monthly client reporting in Google Data Studio and communicate strategy progress
