Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Engineer in Roy, UT to join the Sentinel Program. You will coordinate verification against military and industry standards, acting as a subject-matter expert across business units. Strong communication and collaboration are essential as you decompose and verify requirements for the Sentinel system.

The role requires a STEM degree with experience and US citizenship to obtain DoD clearance. A 9/80 schedule and relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2 years' experience (or 3 years with a master's) or 1 year with a PhD.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain active DoD Secret clearance.
• Experience with systems engineering requirement development and verification processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to present technical details to peers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Sentinel systems engineering strategy for allocation and verification against standards.
• Act as cross-functional liaison on requirement verification within the program.
• Decompose, allocate, and verify requirements into Sentinel performance specs.
• Coordinate requirements verification and report status to department leadership.
• Coordinate with engineers across the Sentinel Program to decompose lower-level requirements.
• Manage system-level information and collaborate with US Government stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
