The Command Systems (CS) Software Engineer reports to the CS Execution Lead within the CS Business Unit (BU) under the CS Special Projects Organization. This role requires a strong software engineering foundation and the ability to apply disciplined engineering practices to complex, ambiguous problems. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player who can translate technical concepts into clear written narratives, compelling charts, and executive-ready presentations, and who enjoys working across organizations to develop the best possible solutions for our customers and stakeholders.
You will work on high-visibility, mission-critical challenges that directly influence how our business responds to urgent and emerging needs. Your analyses, architectures, and charts will routinely inform senior leadership decisions and shape the strategic direction of Command Systems Special Projects.

Primary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\'s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
