Northrop Grumman's Defense Systems is seeking a User Experience Engineer to support Human Factors engineering efforts for the development of software user interfaces as part of the Specialty Engineering Human Systems Integration (HSI) team. This position will be a part of the Sentinel Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program (Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) replacement) development contract. This role will be in Roy, Utah and may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
The selected candidate will be a member of the Human Factors (HF) specialization for software user interfaces (UI) design efforts for the HSI team. They will interact/communicate with the element and product level teams in the technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and supportability/effectiveness analyses for total systems. Human Factors analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, and test. The HFE ensures requirements allocation and interface definition studies translate to customer requirements for hardware and software HSI specification and could require functional analysis, timeline analysis, and detail trade studies.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Salary Range: $95,300 - $142,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
