Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Manager, Software Engineering 2 located in Roy, UT to support the Sentinel program.
This is a dual‐hat position requiring the candidate to perform functional management activities as well as program responsibilities. The functional management role will comprise up to 20% of the candidate’s time and includes staffing needs assessment, recruitment activities, and coordination with team leads. The candidate will also lead a team of system software engineers, provide guidance, and assign work regarding the system software architecture & requirements of GNC software to ensure alignment with system architecture.
The position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine‑hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. Competitive relocation assistance may be offered.
Primary Level Salary Range: $139,100.00 – $208,700.00. The above range is a general guideline; Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results. Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long‑Term Incentives.
