Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst in Roy, Utah, to manage SAP accountability for Top Secret material and support the Sentinel GBSD program.

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) Ground Base Strategic Deterrent program.

What You’ll Get To Do

Member will be the SAP Accountability Officer (SAPAO) and keep an inventory and account for all TOP SECRET (TS) SAR/Collateral material, media, hardware, and equipment utilizing a U.S. Government approved system in accordance with DoDM 5205.07 and the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and other applicable security regulations and requirements. In addition the selected candidate will will be responsible for the supervision of the Top Secret control program. The (SAPAO) will receive, transmit, and maintain current access and accountability records for Top Secret information. The Top Secret documents and material will be accounted for by a continuous chain of receipts. Maintain an accurate inventory of Top-Secret documents will be audited at least annually. Ensure destruction of Top-Secret material is appropriately processed and documentation accurately maintained. The (SAPAO) will develop procedures for the accountability and control of all accountable classified material.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

• 2 years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree, 0 years with a Master's, 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Must be a US Citizen and have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment, independently or with little to no supervision
• Meticulous record-keeping and responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets
• Excellent writing skills, and organizational skills enabling effective communications
• Organized and efficient at time management
• Computer and desktop Microsoft office software products experience

These Qualifications Would Be Nice To Have

• Familiarity with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and DoD 5205.07 manuals
• Familiarity with Security Information Management System (SIMs)
• Experience with SLOPACS and DISS
• Prior Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO) or SAP Accountability Officer (SAPAO) formerly "TSCO" Top Secret Control Officer Experience
• Experience leading small teams
• Experience with SAP inspections and a record of Satisfactory compliance ratings

Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
