Northrop Grumman Defense Systems invites you to join our team as a Staff Software Engineer in Roy, UT. You will contribute to the Sentinel Program with end-to-end software design, development, and integration across Windows and Linux environments, including embedded platforms.

You will mentor a diverse team, drive CI/CD pipelines, and ensure adherence to government software development processes while managing cost, schedule, and resources.

Qualifications

• 12+ years with Bachelor's in related field; 10+ years with Master's; 8+ years with PhD or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree.
• U.S. citizenship required with an active Sentinel Secret/SAP clearance at day 1.
• Experience with DoD training devices / training and simulation systems development involving cyber warfare and kinetic weapon systems.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develop end-to-end data flow and tasking into developed tools.
• Provides documentation and participates in design, code, and software readiness reviews per DoD procedures.
• Lead full software life cycle engineering: design, integration, verification, deployment, in-service support.
