Northrop Grumman’s Defense Systems sector is seeking a Mechanical Engineer / Associate Mechanical Engineer to join the Sentinel program in Roy, UT or Manhattan Beach, CA. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What You'll Get To Do

This position will support the Sentinel Program's Command Systems Hardware Design Integration team. This position will join a team of Mechanical, Electrical and Hardware Integration engineers to design hardware systems and components. Responsibilities will include:

• Apply ASME standard processes and procedures to identify, design, and procure electrical and mechanical hardware.
• Support design of integrated assemblies in accordance with decomposed requirements, compliance documents, and architecture diagrams in order to support the Sentinel critical design review campaign.
• Assist in trade studies, Analysis of Alternatives, and create design artifacts to include 3-dimensional models and product definition packages which will be documented and released using Siemens-based Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and modeling (NX) tools.
