Job summary

Sentara Medical Group in Hampton, VA is seeking a Pulmonary physician to lead an interdisciplinary team and manage complex respiratory cases in a high‑quality clinical setting.

The ideal candidate holds an MD/DO, Virginia medical license, and board eligibility or certification in pulmonology, with residency completed in the specialty. DEA, BLS and ACLS are required. This is a full‑time, on‑site position.

Qualifications

• DLD/MD degree required.
• Medical Doctor State License, DEA, BLS, ACLS required.
• Physician Residency required; board certification must be in specialty; board eligible considered; certification must be obtained within 4 years of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Treat complex pulmonary diseases and lead an interdisciplinary team of primary caregivers and support staff.

Additional Job Description Responsible for treating complex diseases for patients of Sentara Healthcare.
