Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a Sensory Panel Testing Specialist to lead trained panels, design sensory studies, and translate results into actionable business insights. You will collaborate with Sensory & Product Experience Specialists to ensure robust methodologies and standards, while supporting global initiatives.

Ideal candidates bring advanced sensory science training, experience in multivariate analyses, and strong communication skills in a dynamic, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Food Science, Sensory Science, or related field.
• Solid experience in quantitative sensory descriptive analysis methods.
• Experience in quantitative descriptive panel training and moderation.
• Experience with a variety of univariate and multivariate sensory statistical analyses.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong computer skills: MS-Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook). Sensory data collection and statistical software.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Able to work well in a team environment.
• Flexible work hours, as required by the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage sensory panels and training programs.
• Design and conduct sensory studies end-to-end with stakeholder alignment.
• Analyze data and translate results into actionable business insights.
• Collaborate to apply robust sensory methodologies and standards.
• Support global sensory initiatives and provide coaching to peers.
