Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking a Sensory Manager to lead and evolve the sensory evaluation program from their Knoxville, TN location. You will oversee sensory strategy, panel management, and data-driven insights to support quality and innovation initiatives across the organization.

You will partner with Quality, R&D, Marketing, and Operations to translate sensory data into actionable business decisions, mentor a growing team, and manage programs, facilities, budgets, and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science or related field.
• 5+ years of sensory or consumer science experience in food & beverage manufacturing.
• Experience in statistical analysis and experimental design.
• Strong understanding of consumer insights and sensory methodologies.
• Proven cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills across Quality, Innovation, and Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain sensory standards (visual, physical, and descriptive) and methodologies
