About the team

The System Engineering team performs all system engineering activities for the realization of sensors systems for naval and ground based applications. To strengthen our group, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Sensor Management Engineer.

About your future job

As a Sensor Management Engineer, you will be joining a team that designs, develops and validates the sensor management of our radar systems. Sensor management concerns the control and management of the radar system, such that it performs the right transmissions at the right time. This involves, among others, optimization of transmissions, scheduling, prioritizing and making trade-offs between radar functions under load-conditions. The activities of this team are related to both R&D and product development of sensor management within our systems.

Activities include amongst others:

  • Developing, specifying requirements;
  • Maintaining sensor management algorithms and techniques;
  • Modelling and analysis of system behavior;
  • Cooperation with other engineers from various department;
  • Dependent on your interests and skills: participation in R&D projects.

Why you'd be a good match

  • Completed technical Master Degree;
  • Experience or affinity with radar systems is preferred;
  • Capable of developing creative solutions for complex systems;
  • Basic programming competency is required;
  • Knowledge of Matlab or Python is preferred;
  • Team player with good communication skills and able to work in a multidisciplinary team;
  • Fluency in spoken and written Dutch and English.
