Job summary

Core One is seeking a Sensitive Activities Planner to support the program and help plan and execute wargames, seminars, and exercises in support of national security objectives. This role involves collaboration with Joint, Military Service, and HQ staffs to deliver precise regional and country-specific insights.

Active TS/SCI clearance is required. The role demands 5+ years of strategy, sensitive activities planning, and DoD/IC liaison experience, along with strong analytical, written, and oral

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ strategy and sensitive activities experience, preferably SOF or DoD contexts.
• 5+ years’ experience conducting strategic/regional studies and assessments.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and oral.
• 5+ years’ experience as a sensitive activities planner.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of wargames, seminars, and table-top exercises.
• Analyze SOF-peculiar capabilities to inform senior leaders' decisions for wargames.
• Provide analysis for strategic planning meetings and briefings with SOF subject matter expertise.
• Develop relationships across the DoD and intelligence community to deliver regional perspectives to USSOCOM leaders.

Core One is seeking a Sensitive Activities Planner to support the program. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Support the development, planning and execution of SOF- peculiar and SOF- exquisite capabilities of all levels of Joint, Military Service, combined and Headquarters wargames, seminars, workshops, and table-top exercises.
• Conduct analysis and assessments of SOF-peculiar and SOF-exquisite capabilities to provide senior leaders the deep situational understanding they require to make timely and critical decisions for all Joint/Service/HQSOCOM wargames.
• Provide analysis for strategic planning meetings, briefings, seminars, and strategy war games, and provide required SOF subject matter expertise to events related to the future operating environment and interoperability of SOF.
• Develop/leverage professional relationships from across the DoD, interagency, and intelligence community to deliver precise and unique regional and country-specific perspectives to USSOCOM’s senior leaders.

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ strategy and sensitive activities experience, preferably SOF related, working at a DoD Combatant Command or Joint Staff or a 4-Star Command within the past 10 years.
• 5+ years’ experience conducting strategic /regional studies and assessments for the analysis, and synchronization of the command strategy.
• Strong analytical skills and written and oral communication.
• 5+ years’ experience as a sensitive activities planner.
• 5+ years’ experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g., SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel)
• Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance
