Job summary

Until is a moonshot company building a pause button for biology and seeks engineers and physicists to advance organ preservation technology. You will design sensing hardware, read faint signals, and integrate hardware with firmware and software for robust operation inside a preservation system.

The role spans optics, photonics, chemistry, and organ science, requiring hands-on building and end-to-end problem ownership in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Strong command of circuit theory and measurement physics.
• Experience with instrumentation and data acquisition.
• Hands-on analog and digital circuit work from schematic to bring-up.
• Familiarity with FPGAs and embedded systems.
• Ability to reason from first principles and model hardware behavior.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and debug sensing hardware.
• Develop instrumentation reading faint biological signals.
• Own mixed-signal PCB design end-to-end.
• Work with FPGAs for real-time data acquisition and control.
• Integrate sensors, boards, firmware, and software into instruments.
