Job summary

Until is a moonshot company pursuing organ-scale reversible cryopreservation. The Research Associate will contribute to developing perfusion protocols, evaluate tissue viability, and help push boundaries in cryobiology.

You will work closely with scientists from biology, physics, and chemistry to advance preservation methods and solve complex problems. The role centers on hands-on experimental work, data-driven optimization, and ownership of technical challenges within a flexible, innovative

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent STEM-related training and experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with in vivo rodent models; surgical experience is desirable.
• Self-driven and motivated by discovery; able to push scientific boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Handle experimental setup and preparation, including solutions, equipment, and perfusion circuit assembly.
• Support whole-body perfusion experiments; monitor physiological parameters and perfusion conditions; maintain documentation.
• Evaluate tissues post-perfusion; assess structural integrity and cryoprotectant distribution.
• Ensure accurate sample processing and on-time data reporting.
• Review literature and design tests to improve preservation protocols.
