Description

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, develop test plans and scripts, and set up hardware/software environments. You'll execute tests, perform initial triage on issues, and break down complex system proposals into testable components. You will be responsible for building and executing test plans, analyzing results, and sharing findings with stakeholders. You'll also help implement continuous integration (CI) and automated testing systems to support efficient and reliable HW/SW releases. Additionally, you'll create tools (apps, scripts, etc.) to support testing efforts and work with other teams to expand overall test coverage.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Proficient in scripting for automation and data analysis in Python
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks
  • Familiar with testing methodologies including integration, performance, reliability, specification validation and stress testing
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient in scripting for automation and data analysis in Objective-C or Swift
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, analytical skills and drive to resolve issues
  • Deep understanding of system-level test impacts and trade-offs between risk and schedule
  • 3+ years of experience developing and executing test plans across application layers and full product life cycle
  • Skilled at managing multiple efforts simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Adaptable and effective in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Proven team collaborator with mentoring and peer leadership abilities

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
