Job summary

Broadcom Inc. seeks a Senior z/OS Systems Programmer to plan, implement, and maintain Broadcom mainframe software in a government agency environment. You will install, upgrade, and apply maintenance to z/OS and related products, while guiding clients and teams.

The role requires 5+ years of z/OS experience, SMP/E and z/OSMF expertise, and an active Secret clearance. Strong communication and ITIL change control skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a z/OS Systems Programmer installing and maintaining software.
• Experience performing software installations using SMP/E and z/OSMF for product installations.
• Experience with Broadcom Mainframe Software (CA products) preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple Sysplexes with 60+ LPARs.
• DOD 8570/8140 cert (CompTIA A+) required; Security+ a plus.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Ability to document test plans and coordinate change control.

Responsibilities

• Plan, install, maintain z/OS and related software for Broadcom Mainframe products.
• Guide upgrades and maintenance for government agency environments.
• Coordinate changes and testing, including back-out plans, via ServiceNow/ITSM.
• Provide training to government staff and junior engineers.
